The following tests are performed in our genetic diagnostic laboratory:
 
Cytogenetic Testing
 
1.G-banded karyotyping on peripheral blood: Cost Rs. 5,000/-
 
2.G-banded karyotyping on bone marrow: Cost Rs: 5,000/-

Molecular Genetics Testing
 
    (a combined test for factor v 1691G>A(leiden), prothrombin 20210G>A and MTHFR 677C>T  
    polymorphisms)

2. Factor V 1691G>A(Leiden) mutation testing
    Cost: Rs. 1,500/-
 
3. Prothrombin 20210G>A mutation testing
    Cost: Rs. 1,500/-
 
4. MTHFR 677C>T mutation testing
    Cost: Rs. 1,500/-
 
5. PCR for SRY
    Cost: Rs. 2,000/-
 
6. Y Chromosome microdeletion testing
   Cost: Rs. 3,000/-
 
7. Jak2 V617F mutation testing
   Cost: Rs. 3,000/-

In addition to these tests the Unit can arrange any genetic test offered through the Asiri Centre for Genomic and Regenerative Medicine or the GENDIA network.
